Fun fact with Mercy. She's getting a buff soon which will increase all healing she does by 20%.

Plus Genji is getting dumpstered so all's good in the world.

And nerfing Lucios SPEEEEEED BOOST! which is annoying.

The reasoning for it is to slow down travelling time a bit, I hope it doesn't alter his capture rate as I love bombing into a capture point, fading to green and hitting R1 (I'm certain it makes a difference, but it's not something I see many other Lucios doing)

Is noticed everyone's playing really defensively lately too, had a round where I was attacking last night, on kings road, and two people picked Widowmaker, another chose Reinhardt and we had a mercy too. Progress was difficult

Nope, I think it's still in play testing isn't it?

Luscan, you're welcome :)

I was awaiting something along those lines (litle surprise Luscan took the bait, was always going to be Luscan or cavalcade I reckon).

For the record, Prole's pretty good as Road Hog!

I was having a pretty dreadful night all told too, not sure the fact a mate and I were switching the pad between us was exactly helping!

Oh has anyone fed an animal yet?

I did and despite having a heart above its head to say If made it happy (I assume) it still ran away as fast as it could, should have just shot it to gain it's resources...

Accidentally got into a dogfight, which was fun, then got shot out of apace by a Sentinel Starship..

Can you get more slots for your multitouch? I've got load of blueprints for it but beyond having a blaster alt mode I can't do anything else to it
If you are referring to your gun/mining laser, I have upgraded mine twice by buying a replacement from a box on a wall in an outpost. I think my current one has ten slots.

I met an alien who grunted at me and then demanded my tool. When I gave it to me, he gave me a better one. :D

People talking about some sort of Atlas AI thing right at the start. Did I miss something critical? I just wandered about, found the bits to fix my ship then took off.

One of the crates next to your ship has a big red ball which is an Atlas AI and you can choose to have it help you or not. I said yes, but honestly I'm not sure what difference it made.

Apparently, this comes into play right at the end of the game. I said yes as well - the ball vanished and it said something about 'returning later'.

Happens to me all the time, you'll get used to saying no

I've had similar. I was gathering stuff to make a hyperdrive when I came across a crashed ship, though I'd taker that as it looked better than the starter ship but required me to fix everything, including said hyperdrive. I soon realised I didn't have enough resources to do this and that I couldn't gather enough for it as it had crashed in a rather barren area so transferred back to my old ship which id landed nearby, created my hyperdrive and it now says I need warp fuel when I try to power it up but doesn't say how I obtain it.

The mission tracking stuff in this is pretty fucked, though I don't know how much of that is because I chose to explore on my own rather than follow the Atlas right at the start.

I know there's a limit to how much they can structure the tutorial when they have no way to predict even what kind of a planet you'll start on, but locking off abilities - like leaving the system - at least until you've finished the missions that teach you how to use them would be one way to railroad the player early on.

Provided some knob end trader hasn't already parked his wreck of a ship there

I genuinely thought I had made a thread for this... my mistake.

Yes, I do really like this, not had as much time with it as I'd like but when I get on it its really absorbing and just great to play. Theres so, so much going on though its easy to get lost in all of the menu's or neglect things.

I've got it on PS4

I caved and went out to Sainsburys and picked this up today, not spent all that long with it, got so much else to do even though its my day off from work, but quite like what I've seen thus far, seems to be perfect for when you want to play a game but cant be arsed to do a whole lot, like I were last night.

Here's my first couple of hours

I left the first planet as soon as I was able to, there didn't seem to be a whole lot to explore.

I do find it annoying how long it takes to walk anywhere though, even with the sprint

I kind of see your point, but overall I didn't have much of a problem with the movement speed, now team mates leaving the goal open is a completely different matter

FWIW when I spawned in the goal area I tended to stay there.
