Tapatalk Spoiler issue. *SOLVED*
« Topic Start: January 28, 2014, 09:52:00 PM »
Between the Tapatalk admin interface, the built-in forum word censor, and some creative hackery, the Tapatalk Spoiler issue is solved.

Short version :

1 ) Spoiler and /Spoiler work as they should.

2 ) The word censor is now automatically converting spoiler and /spoiler to their uppercase counterparts, making those work.

3 ) I was able to use the built in Tapatalk administrative interface to resolve 'Spoiler=', as well as 'spoiler='.

After lots and lots of digging, I learned that the 'spoiler for hiden' thing is actually an issue with SMF. - it seems that phrase is involved with the way SMF interprets lowercase 'spoiler' and Tapatalk doesn't know what to do about it.   So I cheated.

miskie, that's... amazing.

I've just checked and it does indeed all work perfectly.  Superb work.  Thanks for doing this.

Indeed. There should no longer be any issues with spoiler and /spoiler - provided they are spelled correctly.  So even something like SpoILer and /SpOiLeR should deliver the desired results.
