Also the voice of Grandpa in Ben10 (who happens to be ex-Special Forces) and I think he's a colonel or something in Army of Two and some other military-esque games, lol voice typecasting ftw!

I can't read the last two posts, my eyes have been sucked out by the gravitational well that surrounds Garwoofoo's sig - commonly believed to be one of only two man-made objects visible from the moon.

Luscan knows the rules. SayemwithmeLusco

"If it's under a fiver you buy it regardless"
"If it's under a tenner you think for a moment, then buy it regardless"

Luscan's response when I relayed these rules to him in the Stirling branch of Gamestation were not the sort of words one would expect to hear in a family friendly store.

Please don't tell me you bought Eragon. Charlys read that series of books and watched the film, tried to play the game and declared it one of the worst games she's ever played and promptly lost the disc.

Of course he bought Eragon. That is why we have this thread dedicated to laughing at cav and his doomed attempt to stop buying games!

How many days has it been now cav?

Eragon isn't so much a game, its a torture device. It was horrible to watch I couldn't even bring myself to play it.

I have Eragon. Never played it. Looks shit. But it was under a tenner so....

Anyway. I was in GAME today. I literally browsed a rack of pre-owned 360 titles (I also glanced at the rack of PS3 titles, snorted and wiped a bogey on a copy of Warhawk) AND I DIDN'T BUY A SINGLE GAME.

A guy actually came up to me and said "can I help you?", and my instinctive, usual response of "I'm just browsing for a game I don't own but I'm not having much luck, do you have any more?" didn't sound half as convincing as it normally does.

I even didn't buy the hardback strategy guide for Resident Evil 5 at £2.99 just because I quite liked the cover. I also went into HMV and Morrison's and entirely failed to buy some DVDs that I didn't really need either.

This truly is the new Age of Austerity.
